We're starting something new here this week at Onward State. Every Monday (yes, we're kind of late this week), we'll tell you what else happened around the Big Ten over the weekend. And don't worry, unlike Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier, we'll be here to stay.
The new restaurant State Platters opened last Friday on E. Beaver Ave. The establishment features reasonably priced New York City platters throughout the night.
It truly is what separates the men from the boys, and the awkwardly feminine from the possibly Canadian. It is Paternoville, and in the mind of this journalist it is one of the things that truly separates Penn State from the pack. This past week, I participated in the first Paternoville of the year in anticipation of the Youngstown State game. This year brings with it a renovated Gate A, and slightly new procedures for Paternoville.
The members of State College band Table Ten have decided to come back to the place they got their start. They will play at the Phyrst from 10 p.m. until closing every Tuesday night starting Sept. 7. Additionally, they will have a gig every Saturday night at 10 p.m. in the Rathskeller beginning Sept. 11.

Performing to an audience filled with college students, Centre County locals and even children, Sugarland delivered a performance full of energy and excitement Friday night.
