2010 Homecoming Tailgate Competition Shows True Penn State Spirit

It is common knowledge that the tailgating culture of Penn State Football is incomparable when it comes to other universities and other sports, so why not have a competition for it? Saturday morning, eight members of the homecoming committee made their rounds to various tailgating lots to critique those tailgates that had chosen to enter the 2010 Homecoming Tailgate Competition.

Sugarland Plays at BJC

Performing to an audience filled with college students, Centre County locals and even children, Sugarland delivered a performance full of energy and excitement Friday night.

Jennifer Nettles, lead vocalist, sang and danced around the stage, but also made sure to give a few karate kicks and do the robot.

Kris Allen Performs at State Theatre

Opening with the upbeat tune of “Can’t Stay Away,” Kris Allen catered to the diverse audience in the State Theatre Thursday night.

State College was the last stop of Allen's tour. During the concert, he remarked, “This is kind of a special night for us.”
