Tuesday night was "Family" night at The State Theatre as Robert Randolph & The Family Band performed, promoting their new album, "We Walk This Road". In an interview with Robert before the show, he said it was the band's second time performing in State College, the first being a bar show he believed to have been at Cafe 210 West.
The spring festival Movin’ On was granted a standing allocation by the University Park Allocation Committee Tuesday night. The closed vote came after questioning the Movin’ On executive board and discussion among UPAC.
Teach for America applications are due this Wednesday, October 27, at 11:59 p.m. EST. The planning has been in the work for months now, ever since the Temple white house ticket snafu, but this marks the first time that Intercollegiate Athletics has acknowledged the student movement.
