Eagles Rock BJC

Friday night, the Eagles rocked and rolled the Bryce Jordan Center as part of their "Long Road Out of Eden" tour. Since these older bands have early bedtimes, the concert started promptly at 8 p.m. with no opening bands.

Freshman Rob Bolden started the day with style, going 11-13 and 130 yards before being sidelined with an apparent concussion before halftime. Backup Matt McGloin took charge and led the Nittany Lions to a 33-21 victory in Minnesota.

Today, Penn State alum Jason Olcese, better known as State College's Jason O, will perform as part of the National Finals of the BOSS Loop Station World Championship. The championship will take place in Hollywood with five other contestants, with the best going on to compete with the world's best loopers.

Volleyball Mid-season Review

At the beginning of the season, coach Russ Rose told the media that this year's women's volleyball team was not the same as last year's team. He said that they did not deserve the number one ranking and that, for this team, there was no streak. But I am not so sure that anybody actually believed him.
