Circa Survive Stuns Fans

Last night, PSMA hosted an end-of-the-semester concert to give students one last breather before they have to undergo a weekend of cramming for useless gen eds.

Urban Meyer Retires (Again)

Joe Paterno being awesome, Penn State fans being mad at Ed Dechellis, and Urban Meyer retiring are all becoming December trends in sports.

University of Florida's head football coach, Urban Meyer, stepped down from his position, but will still coach the Gators when they take us on in the Outback Bowl.

With technology advancing and changing by the millisecond, Information Technology at Penn State is making changes to keep up.

Penn State Student has $123,000 Arm

If you were flipping through channels like I was on Saturday, you might have caught something that threw you off: A Penn State mention during a football game....the Big 12 Championship game, that is.

This past Saturday, Penn State architecture student George Hayward was on the field at halftime as part of a competition sponsored by Dr. Pepper, where he had to throw 10 footballs into a target to try to win $123,000 in scholarship money.

His competition made nine...he made all ten.

UPUA Representative Nearly Expelled

Wednesday night's meeting of the University Park Undergraduate Association lasted two-and-a-half hours with an agenda filled to the brim. The main event of the evening, however, was the lively, sustained discussion on whether or not to remove Facilities Chair Haley McClernon from the Assembly.

As Chair of the Assembly, Jessica Peliciotta brought forth the removal proceedings because of McClernon's violations of the UPUA's attendance policy. McClernon gave a statement before the Assembly explaining her absences, citing mainly the Steering Committee's difficult meeting time: Sunday at 2 p.m., and that the new time for next semester would work much more smoothly.

10 Questions with Khanjan Mehta

Most of us do very constructive things with our phones: We order pizza from Domino’s, make prank phone calls to the Joneses down the street, or sext. But do we use them to solve poverty around the world?

That one is solely on Khanjan Mehta and the WishVast Venture. Curious as to how my personal class-interrupter could be so charitable, I spoke with Mehta, the principal investigator of WishVast, to get the skinny.
