Update: Student’s Body Found in Penn Tower Identified

Update: Onward State has confirmed that Brandon M. Lehr of Landisville, Pa was found dead on Sunday by his roommate.

State College police are reporting that the body of a 22-year old male student was discovered in Penn Tower yesterday afternoon. The name of the student has not been released yet, pending notification of the family.

Overheard on Twitter: Rob Bolden is Back (and Hungry)

If any of you were still wondering if you would see Rob Bolden on campus this semester, this tweet should be as good of a confirmation as any. His dad probably wants him to transfer to Canyon Wings though.

Spring Involvement Fair to be Held Today in HUB

In need of another club or two to fill the void between classes, work, and your social life?

The Spring Involvement Fair will be held today in Alumni Hall from 11 am to 4 pm. Previous fairs have featured over a hundred different clubs and organizations, ranging from common college fixtures such as Greek Life and music groups to more unique clubs like The Clown Nose Club and The Three Broomsticks, Penn State's Quidditch-playing Harry Potter society.

You suggested, we listened. Welcome to the new Onward State, our fifth major redesign.

Some of the words we frequently heard about our previous redesign were cluttered, confusing, and community column. Not sure what's up with all of the C-words. In this redesign, we went back to the basics. A single stream brings together all of Onward State's content. You can choose to filter this stream to show everything, only community content, or only links.

Seniors Lead Upset of #18 Michigan State

For once, it all came together for Penn State.

The theme of family has been a constant for this Nittany Lion team all season and it came to fruition on Saturday afternoon as the senior members of the squad finally arrived on the same page to lead Penn State to an upset on eighteenth-ranked Michigan State, 66-62.
