Penn State Founder’s Day: The Partnership

Penn State posted a new site today that outlines all the reasons why our university is good for Pennsylvania (and the country). A public relations campaign to put pressure on the state legislature and governor regarding our annual appropriations, perhaps?

The 5th annual WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State is rapidly approaching. For those who don’t know, the Pink Zone is a philanthropic breast cancer initiative run out of the Penn State Athletic Department.

Hillel Acquires New Property

Penn State Hillel acquired property at the corner of Beaver Ave and Garner St. A 20,00 square foot building could be built there within two years. Mazel tov!

Layoffs Being Announced at PSU’s ARL

StateCollege.com reports that the Applied Research Lab at Penn State is facing cutbacks as sponsored research projects become more scarce.
