Football Uniform to Lose Trim

For the first time in decades, the Penn State football uniform is set for a change. According to the Allentown Morning Call, football branding director Guido D’Elia told a class at Penn State that the uniforms were likely to lose the contrasting trim on the sleeves and collar. The move brings the uniforms back to the Franco Harris era styling and stands to make the already plain uniforms even more plain.

What do you think? Is going back to the “old-style” uniforms a good idea or a bad idea? Or do you just want Guido to stop messing with PSU football and leave our program alone?

Three Words: For the Glory

When I sat back one night in January thinking about my time at Penn State, I tried to come up with a single word that would adequately describe my experiences here. As I attempted to determine what that magic word might be, my mind began to grasp the absurdity of that challenge. How could I possibly distill four years of my life, countless friendships, and untold numbers of memories, down to a single word? An impossible task to be sure. So instead, I took the easier road and went with three words: For the Glory.
