THON 2012 Overall Committee Announced

Onward & Outward: Penn’s Cave

For those of us who would rather hike up a mountain than hike back to frat row, being stuck in town can grow monotonous at times. Last year, I began exploring outside of the State College area and was amazed at how much there was to do. A short road trip on a Saturday can make some of your most memorable experiences while at Penn State. For the first installment of this series, I visited Penn's Cave this past weekend.

A Not so Happy Valley

A beautiful chord had struck, one that human ears fail to acknowledge, but the heart welcomes with open arms. A room full of silence and heavy hearts was accompanied by 1,100 memories represented by the delicate placement of an equal number of backpacks. The quiet was broken by soft voices who brought comforting words and the desire to send silence packing.

School of Theatre’s “Rent” to Open Thursday

The School of Theatre will begin its run of Jonathan Larson's rock opera Rent on Thursday at the Pavillon Theatre.

Tickets are $12 for students with a valid PSU ID. All other tickets are $16 for the preview and the matinee and $18 for evening performances.
