Code Blue: New Athletics Points Program Unveiled

Starting this fall, Penn State students will be able to participate in a new Penn State rewards program called 'Code Blue' that could earn them guaranteed season tickets for football, or better yet -- free ones. The best part? All you have to do is attend varsity sporting events.

No Night Games at Beaver Stadium in 2011

Unfortunately for Nittany Lion fans, the best home schedule in recent memory will be without any primetime kickoffs. Last night, the Big Ten Network revealed their primetime schedule for the 2011 season, and Penn State's lone appearance will be on October 22 when they travel to Evanston, Illinois to take on Northwestern.

Hope You Enjoyed Your Last Senior Week!

The end of this semester marked the last time that Penn State students will be able to enjoy a "senior week" between the end of finals and commencement.

Graham Spanier Leads Penn State Trip to China

After meeting Wolf Blitzer this weekend, President Graham Spanier didn't get much of a break before he headed off with a group of Penn State administrators to Beijing, China.

Hungry for New Music? Just “Chew On It!”

Just newcomers to the Penn State hip hop scene, Chewi and Oren have already made quite a name for themselves. But that doesn't mean they're coming up like rookies. In just under 3 months, the hip hop duo cooked up a 16-track mix tape titled, "Chew On It." With the new-found success, I decided to sit down with the two and find out exactly why "Chew On It" is so damn tasty.

Nittany Lion Softball Team Into NCAA Tournament

For the first time since 2007, the Penn State softball team will be in the NCAA Tournament as they earned one of 34 at-large bids and will take on Fordham in Friday's first round. Penn State will host the first round regional at the new Nittany Lion Softball Park. The #13-seed Oregon and Albany will be joining the Nittany Lions and the Rams in Happy Valley this coming weekend. The regional will be double-elimination. The Nittany Lions, who were 29-22-1 on the season, were thought to be on the bubble going into this past week, but four straight wins over Ohio State and Northwestern seemed to seal their fate into the tournament. Oregon and Albany will play in the first game at 2:30 p.m. while Penn State and Fordham are scheduled to follow at 5:00 p.m.
