Rioters Tear Down Lamp Post on College Avenue [VIDEO]

Penn State Students rioted last night on College Avenue following the announcement that Joe Paterno had been fired by the Board of Trustees. The riot damage escalated when the crowd moved to Beaver Avenue, where lamp posts, signs, and a WTAJ News truck were toppled. There are expected to be thousands of dollars in damages. As of 1:00 a.m Thursday morning utility workers were already assessing damages and making repairs. Below is a video of rioters tearing down a lamp post across the street from Brothers Pizza.
