PSMA to Host Powderpuff Football Tournament

Calling all Penn State ladies: the Penn State Marketing Association (PSMA) powderpuff football tournament is almost here! If you’re not doing anything this Saturday afternoon, grab a few friends and get ready to take the field. The event, which will be raising money to benefit the Special Olympics of Pensylvannia in honor of Joe Paterno, is taking place at 1p.m. in the multisport complex behind the BJC.

Each team of girls will be assigned its own coach for the round-robin style tournament. Although Bill O’Brien will probably be busy getting some awesome recruits, many members of the Penn State football squad will be leading the teams throughout the day.

Whether you’re a world class athlete or just want to spend some time hanging out with football players while benefitting a great cause, check out the Facebook event page and learn how to register a team. If you’re feeling really ambitious, you can even make an afternoon of it and take those football players out for dinner afterwards. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind.

Good luck!
