Hashtag Goes Viral in Support of THON Child

Six-year-old Emily Whitehead has been battling leukemia since May 2010. She is currently receiving her treatment at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Emily is the THON child for the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

Last night an overwhelming amount of support was displayed across Twitter for Emily. Here’s a look at how it happened.
