Student Town Hall Announced at UPUA Meeting

Nothing really happened at last night’s UPUA “Meeting of the Whole”, but President Courtney Lennartz did announce an important event coming up next week.

In an effort to promote an open dialogue between members of the Penn State administration and the student body, the University Park Undergraduate Association and the other two student governments are hosting a ‘Student Town Hall Forum‘ on Wednesday September 19th, from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.

The event, held in a similar fashion to those hosted last fall, serves as an opportunity for students to ask questions, voice concerns, and gain an understanding of the current direction of the university.

The event will feature the following members of the Penn State administration:

Rodney Erickson–University President
Damon Sims–Vice President for Student Affairs
David Joyner–Athletic Director
Madlyn Hanes–Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses
David Gray–Vice President for Finance & Business
Marianne Alexander–Alumni Elected Board of Trustees Member

For those of you who were concerned, the town hall will also be broadcast to the branch campuses. (No one raises hand).
