[Video] New THON “Call Me Maybe” Parody

It was only a matter of time, right?

After permeating politics, sports, and other minutiae of pop-culture, the “Call Me Maybe” craze has finally reached THON. Brought to you by the Informational Sciences and Technology THON org (@ISTFTK), the catchy jingle asks the question, “Donate, maybe?”

Full lyrics:

You put money in my can
You’re awesome, you are the man
Raise money for the kids, it’s such an awesome plan
Standing in front stores, on sidewalks, and door to door
Fundraising is so much fun, we want to do it more

Canning? Nothing better, even in the worst weather
We do it FTK so one day there’s a cure for cancer!

Hey I just met you and this is crazy,
but here’s my THON can, so donate maybe
It’s all for the kids down at Hershey
Here’s my THON can, so donate maybe

Hey I just met you and this is crazy,
but here’s my THON can, so donate maybe
We THON for forty-six, at the BJC
Here’s my THON can, so donate maybe

You took the time to stop
This deed, forget we will not
Making a difference for kids, we change lives everyday

Ed, Donna, David and Sean (THON Family)
and all of IST THON
Four Diamonds unite us all, so cancer, bring it on!

Cannng? Nothing better, even in the worst weather
We do it FTK so one day there’s a cure for cancer!

Hey I just met you and this is crazy,
but here’s my THON can, so donate maybe
It’s all for the kids down at Hershey
Here’s my THON can, so donate maybe

Hey I just met you and this is crazy,
but here’s my THON can, so donate maybe
We THON for forty-six, at the BJC
Here’s my THON can, so donate maybe

Before you threw change in my can I was so sad
I was so sad, I was so so sad
But now it’s full, its really full it makes me so glad
It makes me so glad, it makes me so so glad

You’ll make a difference, grab some change please
Here’s my THON can, so donate maybe

Hey I just met you and this is crazy,
but here’s my THON can, so donate maybe
It’s all for the kids down at Herrshey
Here’s my THON can, so donate maybe

Before you threw change in my can I was so sad
I was so sad, I was so so sad
But now it’s full, its really full it makes me so glad
It makes me so glad, so donate maybe?

Hometown Brewery Releases Beer Honoring Evan Pugh

Penn State’s first president Evan Pugh was born in 1828 at Jordan Bank Farm, three miles south of the city center of Oxford, Pennsylvania, an hour west of Philadelphia in Chester County. One-hundred eighty-nine years later, an Oxford brewery is honoring one of the preeminent champions of “liberal and practical” higher education in the form of a delicious Porter.
