Women’s Volleyball Dominates Illinois

Penn State increased their home winning streak to 20 games, as they quickly disposed of the Illini on Thursday, three sets to none. Deja McClendon had 11 kills to lead the team, and Katie Slay had 5 blocks. Freshman Kendall Pierce had two aces, and deserves a special shoutout for holding serve for a 14-point run in the third set.

The Diner has established itself as one of the most iconic places to State College. Every year during big weekends and large events, hundreds will cram in to get a small taste of nostalgia that was their days at Dear Ol' State. However, the place that would capture the dreams of little kids has now become a place that is barely recognized by thousands of students.
