Game Day Observations: Nebraska

Eighteen hours away from State College, Lincoln, Nebraska has not always been a Big Ten town, but it is unquestionably one of the best. Nebraska was my eleventh Big Ten campus -- still missing Michigan State -- and it might rival only Penn State as the best venue for visiting fans in the conference.

Tight End Kyle Carter Out for Season

Redshirt freshman tight end Kyle Carter's breakout campaign has come to a premature end after suffering a hand injury against Nebraska last Saturday. Bill O'Brien did not go into specifics about the injury at his weekly press conference but praised Carter for a great season.

Penn State Apparel Disappears From NCAA Website

This morning, dozens of people discovered that the NCAA has pulled all Penn State merchandise from its official store. If you search under "All Teams," you will find apparel for every single Division I institution except Penn State. It should be noted that recently athletically sanctioned schools such as North Carolina and Ohio State do have merchandise available on the site.
