Beatboxing State College Street Performer, AudioTrak, Breaks It Down

The sound of sweet acoustic guitar and a vibrant trumpet resound from the corner of Allen Street and College Avenue outside of The Corner Room. Seated on a park bench is Matt Lee or AudioTrak, a perspective Penn State student and musician who has given the streets a soundtrack of a unique blend of traditional street performing and an utterly impressive beat box rhythm.

Blending the style of coffee house acoustic with jazz sympathies and a vein of EDM influences; AudioTrak is a unique sight to see whether you’re strolling to campus or stumbling around on late nights. Onward State sat down with the one-man-band to get a feel for the musician who’s bringing an interesting musical appeal to the streets of State College.
