A Band You Should Know: Pantomime Dame

It’s hard to find a college band that doesn’t cover the same popular list of songs at bars. Sure it’s good to hear those crowd pleasers, but it’s also good to hear something original once in a while.

That’s where Pantomime Dame comes in. Lead singer Daniel Pawola, guitarist Jon Niles, bassist KC Hirth, and drummer Eric Weidenhof come together to bring energetic indie rock with a hint of Bowie glam. The band just started this past summer, and hasn’t played many gigs, but is gaining an audience after opening for Brooklyn indie rock band Diiv at a show last Thursday.  Here is an interview with them before their show last week.
