A new soccer scholarship is planned to honor the recent passing of John William McKenzie Brady, known as "Mack," the young son of Schreyer Honors College Dean, Christian Brady and Elizabeth Brady. Mack, eight, an avid soccer player with aspirations to someday play soccer professionally, was attending Park Forrest Elementary School. There's a reason Penn State offensive guard John Urschel's twitter handle is @mathmeetsfball. The Academic All-American carries a 4.0 GPA into graduate school and also serves as the starting right guard on the Penn State football team. And now, Penn Staters can take a class with him.
The Penn State men’s basketball team has won four straight contests and appears to have finally found confidence on offense in the absence of All-Big Ten guard Tim Frazier. Over the course of the winning streak-- which includes home wins over Army, Delaware State, New Hampshire, and Duquesne-- the Nittany Lions have averaged 78.5 points per game. The Lions (8-4) will look to continue their success on offense as they enter Big Ten play tonight on the road against the Wisconsin Badgers (9-4) at 8:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
