Michigan Game Set for Homecoming

It is never too early to mark down important dates. That includes the Homecoming football game which will take place on October 12th against the Michigan Wolverines.

Given Penn State’s schedule, this is rather unsurprising. Coming off an 8-5 season and a No. 24 ranking in the AP poll, Michigan is one of Penn State’s better opponents next season and is also the only team to come to Beaver Stadium in the month of October.

Penn State and Michigan are scheduled to meet for the first time since 2010 as the Nittany Lions will try to extend their winning streak over the Wolverines to four games.

It is not unreasonable to think Penn State could head into this showdown undefeated, with a 5-0 record, and if Michigan can defeat Notre Dame in Week 2, they could enter with an unblemished record as well.

Expect to frequently be asked “What time is it?” after the Homecoming parade Friday night.
