Mary Robinson, the first female President of Ireland and 7th overall, will visit Penn State on March 13. The event, called "The Future of Global Ethical Leadership," will be held at Eisenhower Auditorium in conjunction with the Schreyer Honors College and the Student Programming Association.

Montreal-based dubstep duo, Adventure Club, will play a concert at Levels Nightclub on February 6, 2013. The group is notorious for remixing alternative songs.

Penn State students are continuing to take further initiative in creating a sustainable Penn State with the formation of the Inaugural Student Sustainability Leader Summit, which will be held on January 25th from 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Heritage Hall section of the HUB. The formation of the leader summit comes after years of largely unsuccessful attempts to organize and mobilize many of the student organizations with a strong focus on green and sustainabile progress at Penn State.

While not exactly breaking news, many Penn State students remain unaware of the ongoing effort that is the Newspaper Readership Program. You may not know that there are digital versions of newspapers available to you subscription-free. Most notably, The New York Times and The Chronicle of Higher Education have programs which allow you access to an unlimited number of articles once you sign up for a free account using your psu.edu email address.
