Valentine’s Day Rose Sale

For those of you who aren’t the biggest romantics, let me remind you: Valentine’s Day is this Thursday.

I know it’s Tuesday, and it may seem like it’s too late to think of something creative to get for your special someone, but don’t fret. You can’t go wrong with a classic Valentine’s Day rose, can you? The Penn State Horticulture Club is providing a solution to ease your worries.

This Wednesday and Thursday, the Penn State Horticulture Club will be hosting its annual Valentine’s Day rose sale fundraiser in the entrance of the HUB on the ground floor (just outside the bookstore) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Roses will be sold as singles, singles with filler, in half dozens and in full dozens.

Stop by, and don’t leave your Valentine in the dust!

If you have any questions about the sale or pricing, contact the Horticulture Club President, Sam Rosado, at [email protected].

Happy Almost Valentine’s Day!

Staying Motivated in the 17th Hour

It’s the 17th hour in the BJC, and from the looks of it, it’s filled with energy and enthusiasm in the stands and on the floor. That being said, I know there are parts of the BJC that we can’t see from inside of THON, and I know there are some committee members that have shifts in places where there isn’t much going on, and times where standing just doesn’t sound so appealing anymore.
