When you made your first drive to Penn State you probably noticed that every other building you passed was a farm. Central Pennsylvania is has a rich agriculture history, and some students at Penn State want to keep that tradition alive right here on campus. Several interested students,l ead by Rachel Hoh (a Community, Environment, and Development major) gathered last night to talk about creating a student-run farm: feasibility issues, funding, and community outreach were just a few of the topics discussed.

An Inside Look at the Pegula Ice Arena

Over the last few months, we've seen the Pegula Ice Arena come to life across the street from the Bryce Jordan Center. The $90 million ice arena is set to open on October 11 during Homecoming weekend. Given the opportunity to tour the inside of the state-of-the-art facility with Project Manager Steve Laurila of Mortenson Construction, I was able to snap a few photos of the interior.
