“The King of Blues” Coming to Penn State

Legendary blues guitarist B.B. King is headed to Happy Valley for a show at the BJC on Sunday, October 13th. B.B. King is one of the most influential artists of all time. You may not have heard his music, but you have heard his effect on almost every rock n’ roll tune produced in the last 50 years. He is often credited as the “King of Delta Blues”, and has been ranked among the top tier of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time — twice. The 87-year-old music legend is still touring over 100 shows a year.

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 12 for $35 or $45 for reserved theater seating. Penn State students will get a $15 discount courtesy of UPAC.
