Send Off the Football Team at “Rally as they Roll”

There may not be a Football Eve celebration this year, but the athletic department is doing its best to get students excited for the start of the season in four days.

Dubbed as “Rally as they Roll,” the athletic department will host an official send off for the football team this Friday at 3 p.m. as the Nittany Lions depart for the Meadowlands to take on Syracuse. Team buses are set to leave the garage at approximately 3:30 p.m. and fans are expected to line Curtin and Porter Road near Beaver Stadium.

Even if it might seem a bit hokey, the Blue Band and the Nittany Lion will both be hanging out with the crowd so its at least worth your time to get an early band performance.

Here’s the official Facebook event if you’re interested.
