Lady Lions Basketball to Host Carnival at the BJC

Basketball season doesn’t start for about a month, but this Sunday, fans have a chance to support Penn State’s Lady Lions, the two-time reigning Big Ten Champions. The Lady Lions will host a carnival at the Bryce Jordan Center from 2-4 p.m. with lots of food, games, and basketball players, all for free.

Guests of all ages can enjoy a dunk tank featuring the Lady Lions and a bounce house as well as carnival favorites like a ring toss, bean-bag toss, and a duck pond. If you’re looking to beat midterm stress and unleash your inner child that loves carnival games (they had me at bounce house), this may be the event for you.

The festivities include free food from hot dogs to ice cream and candy apples, so if you’re just looking for a free meal, walk on down to the BJC and eat up all the calories you just burned off. Bonus points if you don’t walk, take one of the Loops, and just eat.

However, it’s worth remembering that the same bag policy in effect at football games will also be enforced here, so anything that doesn’t fit in pockets or a clear, one-gallon bag should be left at home.
