Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg added another accolade to his impressive freshman campaign today, winning his fourth Big Ten Freshman of the Week award this season.

Penn State Football Attendance Ranks Fifth Nationally

For the second straight year, average attendance for Penn State football games was the fifth highest in the nation. The team averaged 96,587 fans at home this year, which is slightly down from 2012, when 96,730 on average came to see the team play.

Brittany Hicks and Chris Carmody came up with the idea of writing an original song about THON when the two were selected as Mr. and Mrs. PR for the Mr. and Mrs. THON Pageant. "Diamonds In The Air," which features Carmody playing the guitar and rapping and Hicks singing, was a combined effort between the two earlier in the semester.
