Penn State Picks Up Commitment from 3-Star OT Chasz Wright

Penn State picked up its 18th commitment from 3-star New York offensive tackle Chasz Wright amidst a wild Saturday night for Nittany Lion fans. Even with rumors swirling that Bill O’Brien might be taking the Houston Texans’ head coaching job, Wright verbally committed to the Nittany Lions a mere five days after he committed to play at Temple, per Ryan Snyder.

Wright currently attends the Milford Academy prep school in New Berlin, New York and is listed at 6’7″, 300 pounds. He joins Noah Beh as Penn State’s second offensive tackle commit for the 2014 class. Wright currently holds offers from Temple, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, and Connecticut and is listed as a 3-star Offensive Tackle from both Rivals and 24/7, with ESPN yet to rate him. He previously signed to play at Connecticut last year, but instead opted to enroll in junior college.
