As many have written in the last five days, the 2013 Penn State football season was a bit of a roller coaster with constant ups and downs. For that very reason, it's hard to really interpret what happened in each game without taking a look back as the team's identity seemed to morph from one week to the next. Quarterback Tyler Ferguson, who transferred to Penn State from junior college this past offseason, has elected to leave the Nittany Lions football program and was granted a release. Ferguson will transfer at the end of the semester, but his destination is not yet clear.
Penn State hoops (6-3) fell to in-state rival Pitt (8-0) 78-69 on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh in what will surely go down as one of the Nittany Lions' toughest losses of the season.

Last nights dinner, titled Spirited Food, aimed to create "beer, wine, and spirit infused cuisine." Chi Phi regained admission to the IFC about a year ago after alumni spent five years running a successful fundraising campaign. The house underwent a $1.4 million renovation, and now it's one of the most badass frat houses in all the land. Check it out.
