Penn State Sneaks Past Robert Morris 3-2 At Three Rivers Classic

For the second game in a row against Robert Morris, the Penn State men's hockey team was able to put up a win with special teams. After scoring three power play goals in a win over the Colonials on November 1, Penn State scored two goals on the man-advantage last night to steal a 3-2 win from the Colonials. The Nittany Lions tallied a season-high 62 shots on goal in the win, which gives the team a berth in the championship game of the Three Rivers Classic on Saturday night.

Three Penn Staters Named To 2014 NFL Pro Bowl

Three former Penn State football players were named to the 2014 National Football League Pro Bowl on Friday night. Cameron Wake, NaVorro Bowman, and Tamba Hali will all represent their respective pro teams in the Pro Bowl, the NFL all-star game, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on January 26 at 7 p.m. This is the first season that the Pro Bowl will not be divided by conference, instead featuring a draft as captains Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will select teams from the pool of players voted into the game.
