Distraction of the Day: There’s a Basketball Player Named Thon

Penn State basketball has its annual THON game every season. If the Nittany Lions can possibly grab a commitment from one high school basketball star, every game can be a Thon game.

Meet Thon Maker, a sophomore guard/forward/center at Carlisle School in Virginia whose highlight tape has gone viral on YouTube, and whose name would make him the perfect Penn Stater.
