It’s hard to miss the yellow thundersticks in the front of Section 123 at the BJC coming from Acacia and Gamma Phi Beta.

Everyone loves a good Penn State dad. But a Penn State dad at THON? Magic.

THON wouldn’t be THON without those famous five words shaking the BJC every so often. But for “morale captains, to the stage!” to work, it takes work.

“The floor has reached maximum accommodation. People on the floor now are slow to get off because they don’t want to leave. Right now we are waiting for others to get off of the floor in order to let more people on.”

THON is an interactive experience, and having everyone work together, whether it be a line dance or singalong, is key in keeping up the dancers' spirits and letting them know the crowd is with them. Playing songs everyone knows is a great strategy. With that being said, some of us would prefer a curveball thrown every now and then

With the second day of THON coming into full swing, lines to enter the Bryce Jordan Center are reaching despicable distances and showing no signs of slowing down.
