We all know by now that 34 of State College's bars, restaurants, and bottle shops will not be serving or selling alcohol come Saturday. Unlike last year, there was still the prospect of some staying open up until Penn State's announcement Wednesday. THON weekend is the culmination of a yearlong effort led by students and supported by alumni, donors, volunteers, and Penn Staters everywhere. Students continue to make us proud as they stand with the families of The Four Diamonds Fund.

It was all part of a TEDxPSU promotion, which allowed students to conduct the Penn State School of Music Chamber Orchestra right in the middle of the ground floor of the HUB.
The tenth annual Relay For Life of Penn State is set to be held from Saturday, April 5 to Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Medlar Field.
