It's 2 a.m., you're laying in bed after a long night of drinking, and all you want is a Crunchwrap Supreme or a chalupa from Taco Bell. There's just one problem: you're drunk as a sailor, and there's no way you're going to stumble from your apartment to 310 E. College Ave and get them. Luckily, four students have come up with a solution. Meet Drunk Deliveries, a new student-run company thatdelivers you Taco Bell when you're inebriated.
Another week at Penn State means another week of the strong wheels of student government in action. With one last meeting before spring break, UPUA had a packed agenda last night as three pieces of legislation hit the floor and a new Chief Justice was up for vote.
As announced today, Penn State ranked 39th among universities worldwide in the fourth annual Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings. This is the first time Penn State has ranked in the Top 50 for this particular invitation-only survey. Institutions from 133 countries were surveyed, making it the world's largest of its kind.
The Engineering Leadership Society left the Nittany Lion Inn on February 15 with a trophy, $300, and a trip to the Center of Science and Industry in Columbus, Ohio on April 12, 2014 to represent Penn State at the National Rube Goldberg Machine Contest. Their machine proved to be the most inefficient, and ended the 5-year winning streak of the previous champions.
For the first time since 1992, Penn State will welcome a new sorority to campus -- two, in fact. Penn State Panhellenic Delegates voted last night to reopen two sorority chapters: Phi Sigma Sigma and Delta Phi Epsilon.
