Coach Chambers To Pay for Student CBI Tickets

Penn State basketball’s season may have been a disappointment, but this isn’t!

Coach Patrick Chambers, who has proven to be magnanimous over the years, is again opening his wallet, paying for student tickets to Wednesday’s first-round College Basketball Invitational game against Hampton. All students have to do is show their PSU ID at Gate A, and they’re in for the 7 p.m. contest.

Sure, the CBI is the Plan C for NCAA teams with playoff dreams, but it’s still something and now a great excuse to treat an otherwise-random Wednesday night like a weekend. Thanks, coach!
