Reddit’s Huffman and Weebly’s Rusenko Headline IST Startup Week

The start of HackPSU at 8:00 p.m. tonight will mark the beginning of IST Startup Week 2014, described by its promoters as a “celebration of successful young entrepreneurs and innovators.”

Several celebrity entrepreneurs will speak at this year’s IST Startup Week, including Reddit co-founder Steve Huffman; Weebly founders (and Penn Staters) David Rusenko, Dan Veltri, and Chris Fanini; Xobni and Sincerely co-founder (and fellow Penn Stater) Matt Brezina; and Scribd and Parse co-founder Tikhon Bernstam. From this Sunday to next Friday, these visiting entrepreneurs will be offering attendees their wisdom on several aspects of starting and running a company, ranging from the process of “Evaluating success and recognizing the best time to sell” with Reddit’s Huffman to how startup founders should recognize “Family and friends as part of [their] start-up team” with Sincerely’s Brezina.
