Hope Gala To Hold Second Annual Mets Game

Looking to catch a baseball game this summer? Interested in continuing to support THON? Want to kill two birds with one stone? Now’s your chance! The Hope Gala and the New York Mets will hold the second annual Hope Gala Game benefiting the Four Diamonds Fund on Sunday, August 17 at 1:10 p.m.

As you may have seen in our previous posts about the Hope Gala, its efforts to support THON and the Four Diamonds Fund are also year-round like our student volunteers’. When the Mets play the Chicago Cubs at Citi Field, a portion of the profit from the tickets purchased through here will be donated directly to the Four Diamonds Fund.

To be exact, tickets are $49—discounted from the usual price for the event—and the Mets will donate $10 for every Big Apple Reserved ticket sold through the advanced offer to the Four Diamonds Fund.

Fans who come to the game early will be able cheer on the Ashley Fazekas Family, who will be honored on the field pre-game.

The Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates have held similar events in years past just as the Mets have, making the Mets the third Major League Baseball team to host a THON fundraiser.

Don’t miss out! Grab your THON gear and join the Hope Gala in its fight against pediatric cancer all FTK!
