State Senate Committee Approves Board of Trustees Reform Bill

Without opposition, a state senate committee approved a bill Tuesday that would reorganize Penn State University's Board of Trustees. The legislation will now move to the full senate for consideration.

Pittsburgh Pirates To Host Pair of Games Benefitting THON

The Pittsburgh Pirates will host a pair of games at PNC Park to benefit THON and the Four Diamonds Fund on June 26 and 27, the third straight year the Buccos are hosting two for the cause. The Pirates will play the New York Mets, who also just announced the date of their THON game, at 7:05 p.m. on both dates. Swell promotions accompany each contest -- fireworks will follow the first game, and free T-shirts can be had at the second.
