Pittsburgh Pirates To Host Pair of Games Benefitting THON

The Pittsburgh Pirates will host a pair of games at PNC Park to benefit THON and the Four Diamonds Fund on June 26 and 27, the third straight year the Buccos are hosting two for the cause.

The Pirates will play the New York Mets, who also just announced the date of their THON game, at 7:05 p.m. on both dates. Swell promotions accompany each contest — fireworks will follow the first game, and free T-shirts can be had at the second.

Purchase tickets here with the coupon code THON for a portion of the proceeds from each to go to THON. Buy them quickly, as fireworks games tend to sell out quickly, the Pirates have been hot recently, and they just called up one of the top prospects in the whole sport.

The Philadelphia Phillies have had a THON game annually in recent years, so they might join the Pirates and Mets with an announcement soon.
