Distraction of the Day: Penn State Football, Behind the Scenes

By now, it’s safe to say that you have seen the new scoreboards adorning the top of Beaver Stadium. Featuring the best technology that money can buy, the flashy scoreboards are a welcome addition to the stadium — the first scoreboard upgrade in 14 years. Well, with the new scoreboards come new uses, and the football team has been put to task to show off the new toys.

The team recently went behind the camera to film everything from introductions to pep talks meant to pump up the crowd. With little antics peppered in from several of the players, fans are sure to be in for a new experience when they step into Beaver Stadium. Take a look at the video below:

But wait, there’s more. Just in case the team was rusty on the Alma Mater’s lyrics over the summer, athletics provided a glimpse into the team practicing it courtesy of outgoing Blue Band Director Dr. O. Richard Bundy.

And then they turn things up a bit.

We only have 24 more days until Ireland and 31 days until we can see the finished product in person!
