Zeno’s Ranked In Top 10 Non-Philly Pennsylvania Bars

After ranking the Phyrst among the best college bars in the country earlier this summer, Thrillist is back with another good review for a State College watering hole.

The food and drink website ranked Zeno’s Pub one of the top 10 Pennsylvania bars not located in Philadelphia (that’s a fair disclaimer. Philadelphia kind of has a lot of them). The website gave props to the wi-fi Zeno’s offers its patrons and the “so many co-eds” that frequent it. Thrillist also points out that the studious among us can bring their laptops to State College’s unofficial graduate student bar while they taste one of their more than 200 beer selections.

While a bar is a bit of a questionable spot to get that studying done, I have seen students reading in there on more than one occasion. This ranking adds to a growing list of bar recognition for State College — besides the Phyrst often pulling in kudos, Indigo was ranked one of the best college bars last year.
