Over the weekend, the 2015 Senior Class Gift Committee announced the three finalists for this year's class gift. Seniors have three extremely different options to leave their mark on Penn State, and are able to vote for their favorite gift online by midnight Saturday. With that said, three of our senior writers present our latest Onward Debate: Which Senior Class Gift is the best?
The New York Times did a great user-generated feature this spring collecting haikus to describe what New York City meant to its diverse communities. Like New York, I believe our community in the Nittany Valley elicits profound emotions that could be conveyed beautifully through haiku.
With a team that returns nine of 14 players and four of five starters, not much changes. While, in Penn State basketball's case they lost arguably their biggest piece in Tim Frazier, Pat Chambers, like most coaches, chose not to speak about the people that left, and focused on this year's team during media day.
