Music Monday: Always Be Covering

Well, that was a heartbreaking loss on Saturday, wasn’t it? Ohio State was supposed to blow us out, but we battled until the bitter end. We didn’t win, but we covered the spread. The all-important Vegas line can make the game more interesting and is often used as a hedge for happiness for underdog fans; win and you get the glory, lose and at least you got some cash.

Subsequently, this week’s Music Monday will be all covers. Famous artists covering other famous artists and showing respect to legendary tracks while putting their own spins on them is one of the cooler things in music, and while Spotify is lacking some of the best ever (Weezer’s cover of The Weight, for instance), it still supplies ample material.
