Samantha Fuss had a dream. The senior from Hazleton wanted to dance in THON 2014 in memory of the child who inspires her the most: Audrianna Bartol.

That got me thinking. What if ESPN decided to send their premiere college football broadcasting team of Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit to State College to announce the event?

There were a lot of improvements made to THON this year--line overflow at the Pegula, a new wristband system, dancer support passes. Nonetheless, as the sun rises in Happy Valley, it's becoming more and more apparent that we need a few more improvements. Here's a short list of things that could improve the experience!

I was in the women's bathroom for all of three minutes when I realized it needed to be the spot of our latest Overheard post. Between the girls blatantly sitting on the floor and complaining to their friends about how much their feet hurt to the ladies shampooing their hair and brushing their teeth, it was clear that the women's bathroom revealed how even the most passionate THON-ers felt after 36 hours on their feet.

Perhaps the most noticeable of the light-up signs at THON 2014 is the Penn State Alumni Association’s, standing tall atop section 119.

For dancers Steve McGettigan, Mike May, and Raul Garcia, living under the same roof also translates to living together on the THON dance floor. The three roommates are all representing Penn State's Club Croquet team and fittingly, they all live in the club's designated house.
