DOTD: Anthony Zettel Body Checks A Tree Out Of The Ground

Coming off of a breakout year as probably the team’s second most impactful defensive player, Anthony Zettel opted to stay at Penn State for his senior year, making many Nittany Lion fans rejoice. And apparently, according to fellow rising senior Jordan Dudas, Zettel has already started training for the 2015 campaign in an untraditional way.

Dudas posted this video of Zettel uprooting a tree from his usual stance on Instagram on Saturday. The display of pure strength really comes as no surprise after seeing the 278-pound defensive tackle rack up eight sacks last season, but even still, seeing someone uproot a tree is pretty impressive.

Last season, Zettel earned a unanimous first-team All-Big Ten selection, and the senior looks poised for an even stronger 2015 season. He’s already been named to the LOTT Impact Award Watch List, and was named to the team’s new Leadership Council. With this, Zettel joins former Nittany Lion and current Minnesota Viking linebacker Michael Mauti in the “People You Really Don’t Want to Tackle You” club.
