Lift for Life, the marquee event conducted by the Penn State Uplifting Athletes chapter is set to kick off on July 11 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Penn State Lacrosse Field.

Newbill was left waiting for an NBA team to come calling for his services. One team in particular, the Los Angeles Clippers, was impressed enough to sign Newbill to their Summer League roster, giving the Nittany Lion great his first opportunity in the NBA.
