Pittsburgh Pirates To Host Series Benefitting THON

Bucs fans, get ready for a whole series for the kids. The Pittsburgh Pirates are taking on the Chicago Cubs August 3-5, and net proceeds from select ticket sales will benefit THON.

When fans use the promo code “THON” at checkout, part of the proceeds from the selected ticket will go straight to everyone’s favorite 46 hour dance marathon. There are two levels of tickets being offered, ranging from $19 to $31. Each of the games are scheduled to start at 7:05 p.m.

The series against the Cubs marks the fourth straight year the Pirates have played FTK. For more information, check out the event’s Facebook page. Or better yet, buy your tickets right here. This will be the second time baseball will join the fight against pediatric cancer this summer, as the Philadelphia Phillies are scheduled to take on the Atlanta Braves in a THON game of their own on July 30.
