Happy game day, Penn State! The Nittany Lions kick off the 2015 season today against the Temple Owls. The last time we saw James Franklin’s team, it won the Pinstripe Bowl over Boston College in walk off fashion. Temple went 6-6 in 2014, and the program wasn’t invited to a bowl.
Penn State leads the all-time series 39-3-1, and is 12-3 at Temple.
Below is all of the media information you’ll need for today’s game:

Akeel Lynch scored his second career touchdown and rushed for 130 yards to help carry the offense. The defense forced five second-half turnovers –including the first career interceptions for freshmen Grant Haley and Christian Campbell — to seal the victory.
