Jordan Lucas And DaeSean Hamilton Talk Buffalo

by: Tim Reams

After a heartbreaking loss to Temple, Penn State has literally buried the tape of the game and moved on from the game that will be ingrained in the back of all Penn Staters’ minds for years to come. Looking forward to the home opener in Beaver Stadium against the Buffalo Bulls, senior safety Jordan Lucas and redshirt sophomore receiver DaeSean Hamilton sat down for a video interview with the Big Ten Network. They and the team are prepping hard for the game Saturday, and both wholeheartedly agreed they are more than hyped up to be back in Beaver Stadium playing in front of their friends, families, and the electric fan base.

After a standout season playing at cornerback in 2014, Jordan Lucas has shifted to the safety position and is excited for the freedom to play both sides of the field defensively as well as be the key guy recognizing formations. Lucas also touched on seniors Trevor Williams and Carl Nassib, who have risen through the ranks through their years at Penn State, and are both proving to be consistent playmakers and leaders on the defensive side of the ball.

Hamilton is also excited to be back in the basic blues in Beaver Stadium, where he can enjoy the warm-ups with the team, and also maybe do a little bit of dancing to the pregame music.

Both players are ready to be back in Happy Valley to see the fan-made signs and experience that #107kStrong home crowd, but the pair is gearing up and practicing with some serious intensity for the game with last week’s game still on the forefront of their minds.
